Jane came up with lots of good ideas which were incorporated in our design. The units are all very high quality and the whole process went seamlessly.

Down Draft Extraction
One of the latest technologies to be integrated into kitchen design is the downdraft extractor hood. Unlike ceiling and wall mounted hoods, the downdraft extractor can be integrated into any kitchen design and offers a sleek alternative to traditional extraction. There are various models on the market from suppliers such as Neff and Miele and come in range of materials from black glass to Stainless Steel depending on your design.
The downdraft extractor can either be fitted behind or adjacent to the hob and fits neatly onto the work surface when not in use. Once activated the extractor rises out of the work surface to extract odours caused during cooking. They can be ducted out and fitted with a remote motor to eliminate noise or they can be fitted with carbon filters to re-circulated air into the kitchen if ducting out is not an option.
